Welcome to Chongqing, China’s famous mountain city. Upon your flight landing, our airport pick-up service will ensure a smooth ride to your hotel in Chongqing.
The rest of the day is on your own. You can visit Chongqing Hongya Cave, a famous riverside area with stilted buildings and a bright, busy night scene.
If time permits, take a private Yangtze River Night Cruise, and enjoy the city lights with simple refreshments. -
Today you explore Chongqing’s cultural and architectural highlights with your dedicated private guide.
Your first stop is the Three Gorges Museum, where a 2-hour guided tour offers a deep dive into the Yangtze River’s past and regional customs. Then walk across the square to the People’s Assembly Hall, and enjoy its mix of traditional Chinese style and simple Western design.
After lunch, you will head to Liziba Station, and watch the train pass through a building. Then your guide will take you to Ciqikou Old Town, a well-preserved old area with stone streets and local shops. Try snacks like peanuts and rice cakes, and see traditional crafts along the way.
