A flexible 6-day Chengdu & Chongqing tour, including Dazu and Wulong.

Upon your arrival at Chengdu Airport, our friendly driver will extend a warm welcome and provide a private transfer to your hotel.

After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace. You may choose to visit Taikoo Li shopping district, known for its open-air design, stylish boutiques and modern dining options. If time permits, Kuanzhai Alley is also a great choice. It’s an ideal place to wander and taste authentic Chengdu flavors.

Your driver and guide will take you directly to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. As one of the most popular attractions in Sichuan, it offers the best opportunity to observe giant pandas in a natural setting.

After the panda base, continue to People’s Park, a beloved local gathering place. Here you can sit in a traditional teahouse, taste local tea, and watch face-changing performances of Sichuan opera.

Later, explore Jinli Old Street, one of Chengdu’s most vibrant historical areas. Walk through its lively alleys filled with traditional architecture, local snacks and handmade crafts.

After breakfast, your local guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at the scheduled time. Enjoy a private transfer to the Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its intricate stone sculptures and cliff-side carvings.

At the site, visit Baodingshan, famous for its lifelike stone statues, cliff-side reliefs, and artistic masterpieces from the Tang and Song Dynasties.

After your visit, enjoy a private transfer back to downtown Chongqing. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The evening is free for you to relax or explore the city’s vibrant night views and riverside scenery.

After breakfast, start with the Yangtze River Cableway for high-level views of the river and the city’s 8D landscape.

After the ride, enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Mountain City Walkway, a scenic pedestrian path built along the cliffs. Continue to the Liziba Light Rail station to see the famous train passing through a residential building.

In the evening, visit Hongya Cave, a lively riverside complex known for its traditional stilted architecture, bright night lights, and local snacks.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby for a private transfer to Wulong Karst National Park, one of Chongqing’s most iconic natural wonders. Begin your visit at the Three Natural Bridges, a world-famous karst landscape featured in popular films such as Transformers and Curse of the Golden Flower. Next, continue to Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a deep and narrow canyon known for its vertical cliffs, misty waterfalls, wooden walkways and immersive nature views.

After the visits, take a comfortable private transfer back to your hotel in Chongqing downtown, concluding a full day of nature, photography, and unforgettable landscapes.

👴Is the 6-day tour suitable for families with children or seniors?

Yes, but with caution. The Wulong part involves significant walking and uneven steps. Please let us know your physical needs in advance and we’ll adjust the route or skip the hardest hiking sections.

🐼What is the best time to see pandas?

9:00–10:30 AM and 2:00–3:30 PM. During these hours, pandas are most active—you’ll often see them eating, climbing, and moving around, so an early visit gives you the best chance to see their natural behavior.

🍲Is food in Chengdu & Chongqing spicy?

Yes, they are famous for heat, but non-spicy food is available. You can enjoy “Yuan-yang” Hotpot (clear broth & spicy) or request “Wei La” (mild) to suit your palate.
